Ben Lupinacci was born in Holy Oak, Massachusetts, in 1991. He got his first instrument in 5th grade. He then moved to Pennsylvania in 2000 where he continued to practice trombone. Although always serious with his music, Ben realized his passion for playing music and knew he had a career ahead of him in his sophomore year of High School. Throughout his years at Pennsbury Senior Highschool, he participated with not only his High School marching band for all four years, but also with the Pennsbury Jazz Band. He received numerous scholarships and awards at the high school and collegiate level. Ben has had the honor and privilege in studying with Luis Bonilla, Fred Scott, and John Fedchock. He decided to go to Temple in 2009 and is studying Jazz Performance under the direction of John Fedchock and Terrell Stafford. In addition to playing for Temple University, Ben has also performed with other bands at numerous gigs such as: Jimmy George and the Latin Express, and the Midnight Sun Jazz Orchestra.
