Bruno Le Flanchec

Pianist, flautist, arranger and composer with the most diverse jazz, latin, fusion, rock and pop influences. Born in France, September 27th of 1959, Bruno started his musical studies at the age of six with a private tutor. He studied classical piano for a few years, before his encounter with jazz music through his father, led him to experiment with many different wind instruments. He started playing in “Top Forty” bands at the age of 14 and also in a big band that was created and conducted by his father. First on trumpet which he played for 8 years before switching to the flute, though he never stopped playing the piano. He could thus have the opportunity to play with the most prominent French jazz players of the time visiting Reunion Island. At the same time, he pursued language studies (English and German) at the University of Reunion Island
