Al Granato

AL GRANATO discovered the accordion at the age of 8, which he played till he got fourteen. At that age he went over to pop and rock music, and started playing keyboards

At his eighteenth he turned back to his old love: the accordion, and this time for good.

Started as a street musician, this guy is one of the genuine braves who knows the price of loving one's art and living for it !

After this « hard but rich journey», he has discovered the pleasure to appear on stage (or in recording sessions) with many artists from all over the world.

He played for instance in the musical “PIAF”

He also played as support act of famous singers like : Noa, Rachid Taha, The Wailers, Patricia Kaas, Maurane, Céline Dion, Aston Villa, Bernard lavilliers,Michel Fugain, Natasha St Pier, .. and also on his own : Raphael at the Francofolies and some more at the Eu'ritmix festival in Brussels as well as in the United States

He also accompanies many musicians like MC Solaar, Roby Lukatos, Studio Pagol, Myriam Fuks, William Dunker, Leo Munger, Jeff Bodart, Marka, Julos Beaucarne, Jeronimo, Claude Semal, Mousta Largo, Salvatore Adamo,... It was time for him to build his own style from the solid experience he had gained over those years.

His first wonderful electro album is called "La Noche" (Vivadisc/Universal). Enjoy the discovery...Aldo's universe...you'll be deeply moved by his personality. It’s a mixture of emotions and cultures, mixture of electronics and traditional music. “La Noche” is a renewing and exiting musical journey, sensual and magical.

The band (guitar, drums, female voice, bass and of course Aldo's accordion) is ready to play anywhere in the world in good technical conditions.

It's really on stage that Aldo Granato takes his real dimension. He already played in NY, France, Belgium, etc

So if you feel like trying the experience and taste Aldo's exciting musical cocktail... don’t hesitate
