You can hear the magic in every song on the album. A new genre in music, C & B. I Crooned and Belted a selection of timeless classic standards with fresh and new orchestrations with traces of jazz, blues, and country. To introduce these songs to a new generation of listeners, I breathe new life into the music of an era of great music never to be forgotten. That is why the album is called, "A New Standard."

Within the lyrics of "The Birth of the Blues", credit is given to where the blues began which is the Southland of the US. There was no better place to record my first release of C & B, than Nashville TN, the heart of the South where so much great music originates.

“When Does The Hurtin Stop” is an original song written by my Producer, Buddy Hyatt, his first song before many that he has written.
