August Rosenbaum

24-year old pianist August Rosenbaum is an active contributor to the progressive Danish jazz scene. In 2010 he won a Danish Grammy for his debut "Beholder" and was named '#1 New Danish Jazz Act'. Oct 2011 marks the release of a new trio record titled "Live LP".

AR has worked with artists such as Quadron, Robin Hannibal, Jesper Just, Jakob Bro, Thomas Morgan and renowned composer Else-Marie Pade

Considering the maturity and sophistication Beholder displays, it might be astonishing to learn that its composer/pianist, August Rosenbaum, is just 22. But, there it is. This youthful Danish jazzman recorded this Brooklyn session with countryman Jakob Bro (guitar) and Americans Dan Weiss (drums) and Thomas Morgan (bass).
