Bruce Saunders

Currently an Associate Professor of Music at Berklee College of Music where he has taught since 1992. He is on the faculty of The New School in New York city and at New York University. Has presented numerous clinics worldwide including the International Jazz Seminar in Xalapa, Mexico, clinics in Bogota, Medellin, Bucaramanga and Baranqilla, Colombia, the Berklee Guitar Sessions and the Maine Jazz Camp. He is the author of Pentatonics (click to browse), Modern Blues and Melodic Improvising for Guitar (all Mel Bay Publications). He is currently writing a two volume series: 1) Diminished 2) Whole-tone & Augmented which will be published by Mel Bay. His debut recording for the Mel Bay Records entitled 8x5 label was released in August 2006.
