Jesse Green

Green, a world-class jazz pianist, piano accompanist, composer, recording artist, arranger, and studio session pianist, specializes in jazz, smooth jazz, R&B, and vocal accompaniment. His exceptional talent is evident in his arrangement of Bobby Caldwell’s “What You Won’t Do for Love” for big band, which you can hear on YouTube and Spotify.

As a three-time winner of international jazz piano competitions, Jesse is one of the most sought-after jazz artists, producers, and arrangers in the New York Tri-State Area (NY, PA, NJ). He regularly performs as the leader of his trio with Gene Perla and J. Taylor Leach, also known as The MEANT 2B TRIO.

Jesse Green has 36 years of experience working with vocalists such as Bobby Caldwell, Jenna Drey, Jerry Harris, Joanie Samra, and many others, and he is in constant demand as one of the leading multi-genre piano accompanists of today.

As a recording artist with Chiaroscuro Records, Jesse has performed and/or recorded with a distinguished list of artists, including Bobby Caldwell, Freddie Hubbard, Dave Liebman, Phil Woods, and Urbie Green, to name just a few. He has also appeared on the NPR Jazz Show with Marian McPartland. Jesse’s talent and versatility have allowed him to work with musicians in a variety of genres, including jazz, R&B, and pop.
