Juliet Kelly
Juliet Kelly is one of UK jazz’s hidden treasures. Gifted with a beautiful, expressive voice and a dynamic stage presence, she is also a talented, highly original songwriter.
Juliet has released 4 albums to critical acclaim with several tracks receiving widespread radio airplay. She has appeared at clubs and festivals throughout the UK with sold out concerts in Europe and beyond.
Whether she's appearing at intimate clubs or on grand stages, Juliet has a natural ability to connect with her audience and make every show an unforgettable experience. With her distinctive, velvety voice and engaging performances, Juliet is sure to leave a lasting impression that will make you fall in love with jazz all over again.
When everything shut down during the pandemic, Juliet discovered that she was one of a small percentage of people with something called synesthesia - when your brain routes sensory information through multiple unrelated senses, causing you to experience more than one sense simultaneously.
Deciding to explore this through music, she began writing some songs while thinking about various colours. Her latest track, Here With You is a ballad that represents the colour yellow. Romantic and uplifting, it’s an enchanting blend of gentle guitar and tender vocals - a celebration of love.

“Kelly has been a well-kept secret of the UK scene for some time, but the honesty and charm of Spellbound Stories might change that.” John Fordham, THE GUARDIAN
"This fourth album from vocalist Juliet Kelly completely seduces the senses... Kelly's wordless vocalese in Ghosts (mixed by Seb Rochford) is a standout, while "All He'll Ever Need" illustrates the singer's facility for penning the catchiest of vocal hooks... nothing quite prepares you for the wonderfully strange take on "Wuthering Heights", the album's sole cover."
