Terry Burrus

Terry Burrus, Talk Show Host/ Pianist/Producer was born in Brooklyn, New York and got his first traveling gig at the age of sixteen with singer Jean Carne and Charisma. During that time he was also playing with Jazz Fusion violinist Michael Urbaniak. Around his eighteenth birthday he was touring with singer Melba Moore and later on that year went on to tour with jazz fusion pioneer drummer, Lenny White. From the later 70's to the 90's he continued on and played with many in the jazz and pop world, Stanley Turrentine, Tom Browne, Lena Horne, George Benson, Phyllis Hyman, Stanley Clarke, Bobbi Humphrey, Larry Carlton, Gato Barbieri, Bill Withers, Angela Bofill, Ronnie Laws, Noel Pointer, Lionel Hampton, Ray Brown, and even was a keyboarder for Ramsey Lewis.

Performing at many of the great American venues of jazz for many years such as the World famous Bluenote in New York, Blues Alley in Washington DC, Yoshi's in Oakland and of course many of the great concert halls and theaters throughout the world with many of the great jazz fusion and pop artists also taking on the task of being the leader in his own group continues on in the expression and creativity of improvisational music beyond jazz. Terry is on a mission to educate and motivate new musicians who seek the ability to create and improvise music.. He will also host the new Television syndicated music show "All About Jazz TV" which will help to educate new and upcoming musicians and will bring on many great performers of all time to to perform on the show.
