Thomas McMahon

Tom McMahon is an accomplished performer and composer who has ventured into many styles of music. Tom graduated with honours from Humber College Music Program and along with Baliset also plays acoustic bass, fretless and fretted electric bass. No stranger to the studio, he has recorded with many musicians and vocalists, participated in radio and television programs and entertained local and international audiences in live performances.

Spontaneity is what gives jazz its unique voice. This jam session from three veterans (and one younger artist) results in a lovely program where melody works in confluence with harmony and rhythm, in spite of the improvisational nature of the work. With this acoustic and fresh project, the quartet shares its appreciation for shared musical beauty.
