Djivan Gasparyan was a renowned Armenian musician and master of the duduk, a traditional Armenian double-reed woodwind instrument. He was born on October 12, 1928, in Solag, Armenia, and passed away on July 6, 2021. Gasparyan was widely regarded as one of the world's foremost duduk players and made significant contributions to the popularization of Armenian music and culture on the international stage.
