Guillermo is a top-notch artist, who`s always embracing new ways of expressing his Latino passion through music. Straight from his heart and soul , he delivers a new style of poetic lyrics and virtuosic guitar, accompanied by the exotic percussion of his Latin American folklore. The result: a unique and interesting mosaic of world music.The combination of a cultural cross over and years of musical training, has allowed Guillermo to venture into a complete style of his own. A style true to its Latin American roots, which may well be an essential link between world beat and classical music. He follows a long lute tradition spanning from Bach to Barrios, and at the same time, combines his native rhythms of salsa, bolero and samba with North American blues, jazz and rock.

Born and raised in El Salvador, Guillermo grew up in an environment of rich and musical tradition, of legendary singers and masterful guitarists of the popular folklore. This powerful stimulus combined with his musical gift, inspired him to learn the highly versatile and lyrical classical guitar. In his early teens, Guillermo received his first lessons from Salvadorean Maestro Candido Morales; a close friend and disciple of Paraguayan guitar leyend, Agustin Barrios....
