My teachers/mentors include Luther Hughes, Charlie Haden, Dr. Greg Woll, Brent Pierce, and Dr. Lou Reich. I have performed with Maynard Ferguson, the California Avante-Garde Ensemble, the Johnny Blas Latin Jazz Band, Liparis Nervosa, Tainted Flan, the Cabana Boys, Running With Scissors, Ron Powell, Dr. Joe Jewell, Michael Grodsky, Wayne Peet, Wayne Bergeron, Tom Kubis Big Band, and many LA area jazz greats. I have played at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, Montreux Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, Playboy Jazz Festival, and the Reno Jazz Festival. My studio experience includes work with Tony Kaye (YES), Paul Freeman (Disney Productions), and Brian Yaskulka.
