Jeremy Stratton

Born and raised in New York City. Attended Berklee and lived in San Francisco in the late 20th century. Kicked off the 21st century back home in NY.

Currently performing with Lee Konitz. Recent projects include Quartet Doloroso featuring Morris Acevedo, Dave Pietro and Anthony Pinciotti and a soon to be released recording with The George Schuller Trio with pianist Dan Tepfer. Performed with artists such as Victor Lewis, Teddy Charles and Connie Crothers. Performing regularly in Japan with The Blue Willow Trio featuring Takumi Seino and Masako Hamamura. These days shuttling between New York and Barcelona.

Founder of The Grassroots Jazz Effort.. Sundays 7:30-10:30pm at Grassroots Tavern, East Village NYC, 20 Saint Marks Place (between 2nd & 3rd Ave.) A weekly no-cover session jointly run with Adam Kolker. Countless great artists have past through these doors.
