Jevon J.
Jevon J. is a Jazz Trumpeter originally out of Miami, Fl. Jevon began playing trumpet around 13 years of age and ran into jazz at age 14. Many years later he was awared a full scholarship to several different universities for both Classical and Jazz performance in July of1999. Jevon did not complete his training but instead enrolled in the US Army for a time period that would span more than 6 years. During this time he did not perform or play his instrument since he did leave it in Miami, Fl and was focused on his military career at the time. Jevon is now in Tampa, Fl and back performing when the opportunity presents itself. ( 2011).

Meet Jevon J.: Jazz musician originally out of Miami, Fl. Went through Miami Southridge's music department. Left the music scene to join FIU on full jazz and classical scholarships, but was derailed due to personal reasons. Left for the US army after only two years at FIU.
