Klyntel

KLYNTEL (KLY-N-TELL) is a band that specializes in “collective grooves”. From Fusion Jazz to Funk, from Rock to Soul, Klyntel prides themselves on musicianship.

Created in the late 90’s as an R&B quartet, Klyntel took a hiatus from the scene to raise their families but resurrected themselves as a band in early 2009 to get back to the art of real music.

No auto tune, no loops, just creative genius and craftsmanship.

Klyntel’s first CD “Uninhibited: The Groove Collective” was a myriad of instrumental jams they compiled over the first year of their rebirth which produced such hits as “Red CoolAde” & “My Time” a favorite in Europe.

The Second CD “The Elected Eclectic” is a more R&B –High Energy Jazzy feel with funk connotations. They even added a few of the instrumentals from the first CD and added a “twist” to it.

Something else that’s new is the addition of the bands new front man & lead vocalist, Todd Brown. Todd’s knowledge of recording in the studio and his time as an industry professional he’s worked with notable professionals from Narada Michael Walden, was signed to Motown Records as well as M.C. Hammer’s label, Todd added the complete sound.

As they prepare to launch their second CD, Klyntel’s Motto is “To create an eclectic visionary sound that engulfs the pure essence of creativity by aligning ourselves and connecting with those that embrace our musical journey”

Klyntel. Definitely one to watch for.

"Seattle’s Klyntel isn’t a group. Klyntel is a legit, seven-piece R&B jazz band with real musicianship — forget auto tune, loops, or crutch gadgetry masquerading as feel — and a real connection to the audience." — CBW-National Jazz Examiner
