Lolita's Way
Lolita’s Way is comprised of Dolores Reyes Aquino (vocals & keyboard) and Joe Pytel (guitar & percussion), who have been performing for years in the metro-Detroit area both individually and together in various groups.
Dolores has a background in classical and jazz as the youngest of 10 children in a musical family. Joe is a self-taught guitarist and drummer specializing in progressive rock. They have now combined their musical talents to form a unique style of original jazz/blues/rock/pop selections as Lolita’s Way.
LW's songs have been compared to music from artists such as Fiona Apple, Feist, Regina Spektor, and Adele because of their piano driven songs and strong female vocals, yet their songs have hints of jazz, progressive rock, blues, and cabaret.

Lolita's Way is the winner of the WDET Ann Delisi's Essential Music theme song contest.
