Matt Fuller

Matt Fuller has established his musical roots in his native state of Colorado. In 1998 he received his B.A. degree in Music Education from Ft. Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, where he received an "outstanding soloist" award at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. In 2004 Fuller completed his Master of Music degree in Jazz Performance and Pedagogy from CU, Boulder, where he was co-winner of the 2004 CU Entrepreneurs In Music Competition. Throughout his career in performance Matt Fuller has formed many lasting musical partnerships and ensembles. Two of these ensembles, the Greg Harris Vibe Quintet, and jazz-fusion group The Fulldogs have been actively performing and recording in the Denver/Boulder area for the past five years and have received critical acclaim and radio play. Outside of these groups, Fuller has also remained busy working as a freelancing jazz and rock guitarist in Colorado’s Front Range area since 2000. Fuller serves as music faculty at the University of Northern Colorado and Continuing Education at CU, Boulder.
