Michelle & The Stuff Toys

This is one artiste you will find hard to classify. Commonly referred to some landmark singers, pianists and songwriters - Eva Cassidy, Diana Krall, or Elton John, Alanis Morisette, Ella Fitzgerald, Sting, Michelle is a unique blend of them all, yet more…

She is Michelle (vocalist, pianist, composer, song writer, vocal coach & jazz educator), one of the most dynamic and soulful entertainers, and one of the most versatile too. She could dip into soul, jazz, blues, as well as classic pop, and even progressive rock. From a high energy party song like ’Georgy Porgy’ to a tender ballad like ’Serenity’, or a sexy romp like ‘Fever’, the lady can sing it all. Her powerful voice, uniqueness, combined with her effortless improvisational skills and showmanship, as well as her grounded and true personality, made her a popular artiste. With a first rate band, and the charisma that has charmed people around the world, Michelle turns mere events into shows.

Naturally, Michelle found her place with musicians from overseas, especially in Holland where she’d made several trips up and back, performing with the backing of the country’s top musicians. She also shared the stage with several Americans such as Michelle Weir, Grammy nominated pianist Kenny Werner at the North Sea Jazz Festival & Marcus Printup, where music making took different heights.

She writes her own lyrics and music as well, remakes popular covers in her own unique way, plays several instruments, and possess a wide vocal & music vocabulary. All mixed together with an open mind and approach to music making, where Michelle hopes to one day leave her own little stamp in the history of music making! Currently is she hard working to release her first CD in the beginning of next year.

She started singing and playing the piano at 5, followed later by the guitar, and has since studied with top trainers in the business. Armed with an ability to identify the trademark strengths of musicians, and assimilate them in her music, Michelle blends her uniqueness and her exploratory mind into music making that will blow your mind.

There’s no other artiste like Michelle, she’s unique!

Michelle is currently busy with signing a record deal with a American based major label. In 2008 she will record and release her first CD release with her own material.
