I started playing in the late 80's influenced largely by the technique-obsessed rock bands at the time. I began to listen to jazz a couple of years later and since then have been hooked. I have been lucky over the last few years to play with some of the best players on the UK jazz scene including Steve Waterman,Dave O'Higgins, Martin Shaw and Sax Appeal. Currently taking my first steps in big band arranging.
