Brian Gephart

Brian Gephart has been playing jazz saxophone in the Chicago area since 1981. He has been leading the Brian Gephart Group since 2009. The group, including Tom Garling on trombone, Neal Alger on guitar, Karl Montzka on piano, Kelly Sill on bass, and Eric Montzka on drums, recently went into Vijay Tellis-Nayak's recording studio to record its first CD, which features all original Gephart compositions. The CD should be released sometime in early 2013.

The Gephart Long Quartet consists of Brian Gephart on tenor and soprano saxophones, Bob Long on piano, Ken Haebich on bass, and Ernie Adams on drums. We have been playing together in the Chicago area since 1990 and have recorded 5 CDs: There Are Ways (1992), Water Logic (1996), Corners (2000), Play (2003), and Midnight Gardeners (2011). All CDs are available at our web site.
