i'm a 31 year old pianist/keyboardist living in nyc. have recently been doing some pop/rock projects here in the city, as well as tv commercial work. i just finished scoring the music for a film titled “Dough Boys” written, directed and featuring Louis Lombardi (Edgar from 24) also featuring Vinney Pastore (The Sopranos). for the most part, my heart is jazz, but there's nothing like the pocket of a backbeat. i've studie with some really fantastic pianist, (Fred Hersch, Donald Brown, and Garry Dial who i still study with when time permits) things have been relatively busy in the Big Apple, while performing with various artists, maintaining a piano trio (with Zack Page on bass & Al Sergel on drums), and trying to find more time to compose. With 2 albums released on Summit Records, “Dear Dorothy; the Oz Sessions” and “Unforeseen”, my trio has had some beautiful moments in simply playing music.

-Dear Dorothy; the Oz Sessions received rave reviews from critics and fans. Upon it's release, it was heard (and still is) in Starbuck locations throughout the country. We also had the opportunity to be on Dawson's Creek where we performed 3 of my originals. With the release of Dear Dorothy; the Oz Sessions, we were able to play some really great rooms and festivals from NYC to Seattle and all places in between, even some dates in Japan.

-With our second release “Unforeseen”, the album went to number 8 on the national jazz charts (jazzweek.com). We had an overwhelming response, especially when alternative/rock radio was playing our cover of Soundgarden's “Black Hole Sun”! You can hear some of the tracks here, as well as a live recording of Sting's “Every Little Thing” performed at the lovely Diana Wortham Theatre in Asheville, NC.

After recording 2 albums using Kawai pianos, and owning one myself, i became a part of a highly acclaimed roster of performing artists for Kawai Pianos. It gives me such honor to be affiliated with such company. Not only do their pianos play and sound beautifully, but they're just an incredible group of people to be affiliated with.

well, some other things going on, but i'll keep you posted when the time is right. cheers, and please don't hesitate to drop me a line.
