Grant Langford

Saxophonist, recording artist, composer, and educator Grant Langford lives in New York City. Since 2005 Grant has been touring as a regular member of the Count Basie Orchestra. Mr. Langford was the first recipient of the 2003 Young Lion award by the Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium. He has performed as a leader and as a sideman in the U.S. and abroad with the Ray Charles Orchestra, TS Monk Tentet, Eric Reed Quintet, Sean Thomas Quartet, Dave Gibson Quintet, the Harlem Renaissance Orchestra, Kent Glenn-Putter Smith Quartet and The Brooklyn Soul Organization. Mr. Langford has also taught at the University of Colorado at Boulder Mile High Jazz Camp for two summers....
