Born: February 18, 1966    Primary Instrument: Sax, tenor

Started playing in 1982 on an old Chinese saxophone at the age of 16. Studied a few years at the Conservatory in Groningen but stopped in 1989. Since then I played a couple of years in Trio Dits, Van Lier & De Vries. In 1996 I moved to The Hague and after a couple of years made a restart in Jazz. Since two years I program Jazz (and play myself) in a jazzclub on the beach, De Fuut (between Scheveningen and Kijkduin - drop by on a sunday!).
