Park Avenue Talent in New York City, Shaynee Rainbolt brings a rich and
diverse background to the teaching staff of Harlem School of Urban Music and
Recording Arts at Frederick Douglass Academy, NYC. Rainbolt holds a
Bachelor of Arts in Drama with a Music Theater Emphasis from San Francisco
State University, and a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Golden Gate
University. Equal parts artist, businessperson and educator, she has been
hailed as ‘one to watch’ by Scott Yanow in his book: The Jazz Singers: The
Ultimate Guide and called “a unique and gifted storyteller with a sumptuous
tone and instrumentally oriented jazz chops,” by Don Heckman of the L.A.
Times. A private voice teacher and performance coach in New York City, she
also is an artists management consultant and passionate advocate for arts
education in the schools.
