Dan Pinto

____Dan Pinto is a seasoned composer in instrumental music. As a multi-instrumentalist with most varieties of keyboards, drums and percussion, his writing styles include Jazz-rock Fusion, New Age and Orchestral Rock. He has several CDs and continues to release one or two a year on average. Dan's music has been repeatedly applied to film and television as he continues to work with independent film producers on soundtrack material. His true passion is the piano which can be heard along with orchestral accompaniment throughout many of his compositions. He is an avid listener of classical music, a style of which he incorporates into his music as well.

____Dan Pinto began his musical career as a drummer in 1974, an instrument that he still holds onto firmly as he writes and performs the drums and percussion on all the music that he releases. Live experience on his instruments spans practically his entire career although he is considered more of a studio musician. Live performances as the keyboardist/percussionist for the band “Juice” include an unlikely opening for the rock artist “Joan Jett” back in 1980. Solo performances include that on piano as well as work with MIDI sequencing of electronic keyboards and percussion. Studio recordings find him on several CDs other than his own including keyboards for Doug Wain and drums for James Mac with Dave LaRue on Bass. Dan played with many different local bands on the East coast throughout the 1980s and early 90s before moving on exclusively to a solo career in writing.

____Working under Eclectic Sound A & R from his privately owned, “Pinto Studios” audio/visual recording facility, Dan Pinto has recorded many of his own CD releases as well several works of music for companies such as AT & T, RCA and CNN. Television credits include numerous pieces of music written for both Robin Leach shows, “Lifestyles Of The Rich & Famous” and “Runaway With The Rich & Famous.” Film credits include independent films most notably “Die For A Life” which was a full length feature written and produced by Dan. Past CD releases include “Jazz On The Rocks,” “Blue Of The Flame,” “Ivory Towers,” “Die For A Life” and “Visions.” Dan Pinto's latest release, Anomalies, additionally features 3 very talented seasoned players and combines Jazz-Rock Fusion with Orchestral & Moviesound styles of music in a very unique way. Dan Pinto has plans in the near future for a solo piano album and a video links page of his national TV music.
