Eyal Maoz is a composer, ensembles leader and asolo performer. He currently leads three original music ensembles such as Edom, Dimyon andCrazy Slavic Band, and is part of the collaborative ensemblesHypercolor and Manganon.

Eyaljust recorded his second albumforTzadik Records (edom: Hope and Destruction), andjust released aguitar -drums duet album at Ayler Records (Elementary Dialogues, with drummer Asaf Sirkis).

He is cooperating withcomposers and performers in New York, Israel and Europe, and isa guest member in John Zorns Cobra.

Eyals ensembles performed at major music festivals worldwide such as the Montreal Jazz Festival, Red Sea International Jazz Festival, NYC 2007 Winter JazzFest, Brooklyn BAM next festival, Verizon Jazz Festival, the New York Jewish Music and Heritage Festival, Florida Music Harvest, The Jewzapalooza Festival in NYC and more.His musicwas featured on NPR, as well as inMTV andfeature and documentaryfilms.
