Since 1996 he turned his attention to any kinds of improvised music based on afro-american idiomatic expressions. Especially he digs the music of M-base and Steve Coleman; he really studied a way to use Ornette Coleman’s “Harmolodic” concept as creative reconstruction of western music theory and practice; he beliefs in the importance and necessity of logical analysis of the musical experience to get the better of musical mainstream, so he moves toward a deeper understanding of ancient and recent musical structure and “Architecture”; also he is involved to develop an accomplished chromatic and twelve tone-tonality approach in musical composition and improvisation. Moreover he considers essential, these days, to have an experience about materials and techniques of “Twentieth-Century Music” (Schonberg, Weber, Kagel, Feldman,Cage,Bolouez etc..), to build a peculiar musical language and create your own contemporary personal “sound”....
