Chris Holtslag started playing music when he was 12 years old. He started out on the trumpet, later on he switched to piano. Through his piano teacher he was introduced in the world of jazz, and hasnt let go since. After playing jazz piano for four years he realized his true passion lay in the saxophone (tenor). He is currently intensively playing the saxophone and has already played in a large amount of formations varying from big bands to octets and trio ensembles.
