Matt Wigton

Matt is a member of The Suite Unraveling, Zach Brock and the Coffee Achievers, The Danny Ross Band, The Tuey Connell Band, Dave Levy's “Out to Lunch”, and The Deadra Hart Band. He was a member of the NYC based indie rock band and Verve recording artist, Elizabeth and the Catapult, for 4 years and has also worked with a variety of other bands, producers, and songwriters (Abby Ahmad, Gene and Merrady, Shanna Zell, Jo Lawry, Mark Marshall, Old Springs Pike, Tyler Summers). He has recorded on a Grammy-nominated record (Pamela “Peru Blue” 2005), recorded for television and film, and has been featured in Billboard Magazine. He has worked with such notable names as Kenny Werner, Bill McHenry, Steve Cardenas, Ben Monder, Jeff Taylor, Keith Ganz, Michael Nyman, Myron Walden, Ferenc Nemeth, Sean Jones, Jim Ridl, Brad Turner, David Braid and has extensively toured throughout the United States, Canada, and South America.

In the spring of 2008 Matt founded the band “Falls.” The band is devoted to the development of pure creative music that strives to relate and share with all willing to listen. Falls has been influenced by many styles of music throughout the world but it is the spirit of 80's pop music, the depth of film music, the rich melodies of the romantic period, the extremely unique sound of NYC’s modern jazz groups, and the care-free attitude of the indie-rock scene that lend constant ignitions to the ever changing idea that is Falls.
