For the past 22 years, the Bay Area Blues Society has surpassed all other blues society's who focus on just Blues festivals and membership. We have reached out within our community, as well as expanded to other communities, to present the rich musical heritage of the Blues, American's only true home- grown art form.

From Chicago to Russell City will Celebrate Pinetop Perkins 94th Birthday
From Friday July 6, through Sunday 8, 2007, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, the Bay Area Blues Society's 8th year of the Hayward-Russell City Blues Festival will feature the greatest stars of Chicago Blues ever in California at one time.
