Harley Card is a Toronto based guitarist and composer. He earned a diploma in Applied Music from Mohawk College in 2003 and a Bachelor Degree in Jazz performance from the University of Toronto in 2006. Harley studied with Phil Nimmons, David Occhipinti, Kirk Macdonald and Kevin Turcotte while attending the University of Toronto. In 2003, Harley won the Howl studio award in Jazz composition. Harley performs regularly in Toronto and around southern Ontario and has performed as a sideman with Alex Dean. Harley will launch his debut album; Non-Fiction March 22nd 2008. Non-Fiction features eight of Harley's compositions performed by his quartet: Matt Newton, Jon Maharaj and Ethan Ardelli.
