Currently a practicing professional development engineer, weekend warrior musician, playing contemporary Christian and big band jazz; performing on piano/keys, trumpet, drums, & vocals. Music is my passion...my love, 3rd only to God, me partner/wife/bestest buddy Pamela D, with whom I would have never broken out of my jazz shell. I now listen & enjoy the likes of James Taylor, and others outside the jazz realm! 15 yrs ago I wouldn't listen to pop, country, rock, anything other than jazz. I've grown up a bit ay!
I am currently working on a collaboration with a great new friend, Nick Farside----and what an awesome musician - guitarist. He plays pretty much any type of music and boy can he play. We are using Garage Band, M~Audio, ProTools & Audacity software to develop our mixes ~ focusing on Chicago arrangements; 25or6to4, Beginnings, etc.. I am singing a bit, playing base, guitar, keys, and trumpet as well as the engineering. I still keep one eye on my dream, oh yes, making my living by playing.
