Available to teach in Westchester, flexible schedule. Rates are $30/hr, $20/half hour (+ a few dollars if
there is a long travel time for me). Negotiable if needed. Can come to your home or teach in my studio in
Somers, NY.
I've studied at New York University, mainly under the guidance of Terence Goss and Ralph Lalama. I have
studied composition extensively with John Lissauer. My goal in playing, and in teaching, is to be able to
translate and communicate experience through the instrument. In order to do this, my goal is to be able
to play exactly what I hear regardless of key, etc. My theory of teaching is to nurture the student and
provide stability for them as they explore themselves and their relation to their instrument.
Teaching ANY level saxophone, composition, music theory, and beginner clarinet.
