CD Review on Ejazznews.com by Edward Blanco
...another Canadian songbird that sings her way into your heart with a gem of a recording...leaving one heck of an impression...beginning with the light and jazzy standard “Hi Fly,” Mimi soars heavenly, propelled by the first of many outstanding piano solos from Foster. She turns south on the samba- shaded “Summer Samba,” singing in teasing fashion with sensuous lyrics...from a listener’s perspective I would have to say the music and her smooth velvet voice left me quite pleased. So I have to say to Mimi, “Thank You, Merci,” for one fine album.
