Born: July 31, 1934 Primary Instrument: Various
The Groovechasers came together originally as a studio band to record an album of original jazz compositions. The sessions were great fun and the resulting CD “Dig a Little Deeper” proved to be very successful (especially in The States, where it has been regularly featured on a number of jazz radio stations and was at No2 in the jazz chart on the original mp3.com), so they decided to keep the band together. They started performing live in 2003 and their exciting performances of original material and jazz standards quickly gained them a reputation for accomplished and entertaining live jazz.
Gi Dessault, Producer “The Upper Room With Joe Kelly”
“I get the vibe - you’re cool, laid back, and here to have a good time. Wow. Great tune!”
