Noah Peterson

I did band in public schools (Billings, MT) and enlisted in the Marines as a saxophonist in 1991. I attend the Armed Forces School of Music and served in the Marine Field Band at 29 Palms, CA. This was a fun, bizarre and totally surreal experience. I moved to Portland, OR in 1994 and studied music at a small college. I started my own band which eventually was named Miles Ahead - lasted eight years, released 2 albums (Milepost 1 and Live at the Zebra) which received limited international airplay. We worked all over Portland and toured in Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and Colorado.
