Chalie Kurtz has been singing since he was kid, Violin at 9, piano at 12, bass at 14, drums as well but singing took off at the age of 17. Taught by the master instructer himself and keen eye of international Singing teacher and Dr of the Voice Mark Hayden he found himself able to produce Opera, Jazz and pop almost at a flick of a switch. In 1994 he was comissioned by Time Out magazine to write a love homage calypso to Tony Blair he then appeared on the Big Breakfast with Chris Evans and Danni Minogue singing the song on the day of the leadership election. He has written for BBC Radio London, sung backing vocals for the British Movie Freebird and He has written with Steve Cornish from Digital Dog.

He has sung all around the world (Canada, UK, Spain, France, New Zealand) at many major venues in front of large crowds and had a fantastic time laughing and singing along to some of the all time greats. He is gifted with a great voice and is an all round nice guy. Ladies and gentlemen.... Charlie Kurtz... Prince of Swing.
