Last Updated: September 10, 2008...
(Mario Calvitti - Chitarre, novembre 2007)
(Piero Quarta - Prove Aperte, October 2007)
(Vittorio lo Conte - All About Jazz Italia, ottobre 2007)
(Carlo Pulici - www.thevibes.net, settembre 2007)
….What's intriguing is the range of sources that runs the gamut from Bird to John Scofield... a solid effort
(Robert Iannapollo - Cadence Magazine, settembre 2007)
...Influences is the work of a very special duo
(www.jazzworldquest.com, Maggio 2007)
…Dieci piccole schegge, dieci piccoli lampi di genio creativo
(Ivan Masciovecchio - Rockshock, maggio 2007)
(Lucio Mazzi - City, maggio 2007)
(Stefano Solventi - www.sentireascoltare.com, aprile 2007)

Credentials/Background:
He has been a teacher of electric bass, double bass and music theory for more than 20 years. He works with both beginners and advanced students, as well as professional musicians across genres as diverse as rock, jazz and classical music.
His programmes are based on original methods he has personally developed and tested, which are used also by other colleague teachers. These instructional books are divided into practical and theoretical lessons.
The purpose of the course is to eliminate any technical, theoretical or musical doubts in order to enable every musician to achieve the best results according to their individual talent.
Main book used for the course of ELECTRIC BASS
Born as a manuscript far back in 1988 and periodically updated with the feedbacks received in years of teaching, Bassista Contemporaneo 1 (Echoes 206) is now available in a new edition. The complete course of electric bass includes 4 instructional methods useful to learn the technical foundations to play any kind of music, from rock to funk, from jazz to Latin.
This volume 1 is composed of 25 progressive lessons dedicated to learning the techniques of the two hands and how to build accompaniment lines in the main genres of modern music, especially focusing on: chords, arpeggios, scales, sight reading and ear training. Includes a CD featuring a complete version and a minus one version of the tracks, for practice purpose.
After completing this first book, the course goes on with Volumes 2, 3 e 4, where the student can develop his/her professional skills in terms of solo playing and interpretation of the main music genres.
