Brian Wingrove has 30 years of experience as multi-instrument musician who has played piano,organ,guitar,saxaphone, and various other electronic keyboards with a wide variety of bands in the Eastern and Midwest regions of the US. His professeional career has taken him through bands playing blues, country, rock, jazz, classical, and other combinations of these genres. Over the years opportunities also provided experience to work as a recording engineer, producer, and session musician. Later experience and knowledge of MIDI recording enhanced his ability to record an entire album in that medium. This album is a direct result of that period. “Dreaming I'm Awake” was written, recorded, and produced by Brian Wingrove.

“Dreaming I'm Awake” by Brian Wingrove is an uplifting mix of electronic instrumental tracks. Memorable musical hooks and addictive grooves form the foundation of each of these tunes. The musicianship on the CD is high, especially Brian's keyboard work. Furthermore, Brian uses a lot of creativity in the keyboard sounds that he uses. Many of the tracks are well-suited for backing tracks for movies or presentations. The CD also is a good listen as backing music while you work. The jazz flavored Feel So Free showcases an unforgettable lead melody delivered by the lovely sound of the sax.Rain Dance strategically utilizes the natural sound of rain and develops into a very laid back tune with a romantic vibe. Track after track, Brian demonstrates his skill in composing and producing creative instrumentals that uplift and inspire.
