Russ Reinberg

World class clarinetist Russ Reinberg has appeared at Carnegie Hall and other concert venues; on numerous national TV shows including seven appearances on the Tonight Show; a week each on the Mike Douglas Show and Dinah Shore Show; PBS; many national television specials; and at jazz festivals. He has led groups featuring such contemporary stars as Howard Alden and Larry Koonse (guitar) and Concord Jazz All Stars Scott Hamilton (tenor sax), Dave McKenna (piano), Bill Berry (trumpet), Dave Stone (bass), and Jake Hanna (drums). If you don't know who these guys are, you should check them out. In the early 1990s Russ had to retire from music. His 2003 CD, "Blue Scarlett", re-released by Jazzed Media Records in January 2006, marks his return to jazz after a twelve year absence.
