Trumpeter/Composer Dave Carter splits most of his performing time between Seattle and San Francisco while residing in Emeryville, CA. Currently a member of the The Barrett Martin Group, Zony Mash + Horns, Tuatara, and Skerik's Syncopated Taint Septet.
Having performed on over 50 recordings in the past 10 years, Dave has just co-produced, written and performed on his first album as a leader titled “Commitment and Change.” The album includes the piano work of John Rangel, upright bass of Luis Guerra and vibes/percussion/drum set work of Barrett Martin who also co-produced.
