A noted interpretor of Latin music, Stefan is often seen performing with his band, Gato Loco, which takes on 3 personalities; Gato Loco, a punkish-classical interpretation of NY salsa and latin musics, featuring Mike Gamble (guitar), Joe Exley (tuba), Greg Stare (drums), and Brian Drye (trombone); Gato Loco LOW END, an interpretive repertoire of traditional Cuban SON music from the 30s and 40s, feat. Zeniuk (bass sax), Joe Exley (tuba), Clifton Hyde (baritone guitar), and Ari Folman-Cohen (bass); and Gato Loco COCONINO, a big-band high-energy mambo/salsa band fused with modernist improvisation and progressive chart writing, with Zeniuk (tenor sax), Brian Drye & Kevin Moehrringer (trombones), Eric Biyondo (trumpet), Joe Exley (tuba), Mike Gamble (guitar), Ari Folman-Cohen (bass), Greg Stare, Brett Tyson, Rich Stein (percussion).
