Mirko Fait

Mirko Fait, Italian of Turkish origins, was born in Milan on 3rd June 1965 in a family of artists. Mirko started playing the guitar at a young age, from the early 1970s, but it was only later that he realised that his cultural ground was jazz music. This is why in the 1990s he chose the contralto saxophone. He started his studies in Bergamo with Alberto Nacci, moving back to Milan he continued studying the tenor saxophone with the maestro Michele Bozza, with Giulio Visibelli and Emanuele Cisi at the centre “Civica di jazz” run by Franco Cerri and Enrico Intra, until his last lessons with the American Michael Rosen...

”Mirko Fait’s music reaches deep down into your soul, it is filled with a certain “je ne sais quoi” that brings your emotions back to the surface. His style is unique and diverse at the same time, from smooth relaxation (My whisper for you) to very emotional love melodies (Just for you, one of my favourite albums so far!). Mirko Fait not only gives us music for our ears, he manages to express feelings and passion: joy, sadness, regrets, love… Much more than simple saxophone harmonies, Mirko Fait’s music makes your body relax and your heart vibrate.”
Céline Capon - France

”Without a doubt, Mirko Fait's music dares your soul to surrender. Not one note is insignificant... his music whispers tranquility and you find yourself becoming intimate with each song.  It is sensual, mysterious, and captivating.... only Mirko Fait can weave each note to create poetry for the heart. Molto appassionato.... bravo!”
Joyce Sanders, California - USA

”The music of Mirko Fait is very uplifting. It relaxes me. When I'm having a bad day I listen to his music and it uplifts me, takes me to a very nice and relaxing place and I forget about all my troubles. He is one of the best musicians i have ever had the honor of listening to, and to know. He inspires me. May his music go on forever.”
Connie Pearson, New Jersey - USA

”Mirko Fait... a gifted artist. His music evokes so many beautiful scenes of peace, beauty, and joy in my mind. There are artist who play music and that's what they do, just play music. Although musical, it is flat in the lack of connection they have with the listener. But then there are artists who ARE music. Capable of breathing life experiences into every musical nuance.”
Evelyn Esi Arthur - Canada

”La musique de Mirko Fait est une belle expérience pleine de sérénité et de bien-être. Il est un artiste de talent, créant sa musique avec amour et générosité et vous fait voyager au fond de vous même.”
Anne Murez - France
