My musical journey:
1968-70: Kings Springs Elementary, Smyrna, GA Studied trombone
1970-75: Begins guitar and bass studies (self taught) Lands first gig as a musician (school dances)
1974-76: Campbell High School, Smyrna, GA Begins study of music theory under the guidance of band director Mickey Driver
1976-78: GA State University, Atlanta, GA Continues theory studies and begins upright study with Tom Thoresen of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
1979-99: Long string of club, corporate and private party dates playing dance or jazz music as both a leader and sideman.
2000-01: Begins teaching @ the East Cobb School of Music, Marietta, GA
2003-present Begins teaching privately @ home
