Joe Davidian Trio
JD3 has since performed at festivals around the country, including Festival Miami and Burlington Vermont’s Discover Jazz Festival, and recently headlined the Ballydehob International Jazz Festival in Ireland in May '08.
The Joe Davidian Trio has backed a who’s who of jazz artists, including Dave Liebman, Carmen Lundy, Bob Mintzer, Greg Abate and Ira Sullivan. Currently, the trio is performing around the U.S. and internationally, and has just released a new album of original compositions, entitled "Silent Fire."

All trio members have served as teaching assistants at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music in Florida, and regularly present one-hour clinics on improvisation and rhythm section techniques.
Clinic/Workshop Information
The Joe Davidian Trio presents clinics at jazz schools on the art of improvisation and how listening and interaction fuels creative improvisation. Emphasis on use of space, melodic embellishment and listening.
