'A Danish-Norwegian singer with relatively conventional repertoire, Legardh is nevertheless not easy to summarise. Her contribution to the liner notes is entirely frank about her mixed bag of inspirations… Although there are numbers associated with each of them in the programme, she doesn’t really sound like anybody. Also on the plus side... she has a quirky timbre (intonation too at times)!’
- JAZZWISE (B. Priestley), Aug. 2008
'What a relaxing way to spend a summer evening. Cathrine Legardh's deep, clear voice was utterly soothing and most impressive... The quartet's rolling jazz had us tapping our feet and Brian Kellock's honey-sweet ramblings on the piano brought out the best in Cathrine's lilting accent... It's safe to say that this charming show left its audience warm and wanting more.'
- UNLIMITED / THREE WEEKS (The Edinburgh Festivals), Aug. 2008
'Brian Kellock, one of the unsung heroes of Scottish jazz and one of the best jazz pianists in Europe plays with Danish singer Cathrine Legardh, whose smoky sultry voice works perfectly with Kellock's mastery of the keys.'
- BBC NEWS|SCOTLAND, July 2008.
'Singing in English and her native tongue, Cathrine's beautiful, full and rich vocals sparkle regardless of the language.'
- PROMENGRANATE THEATRE, Sheffield, Oct. 2006.
