Linus Wyrsch

Clarinetist/Saxophonist Linus Wyrsch, is a frequently booked recording and live artist based on the East Coast, with a passion for jazz, Brazilian and Latin music. He is known for his bright yet mellow sound and his versatility. Currently, he is working with several groups in and around New York City. Next to teaching private lessons, he keeps busy working with his own groups ‘Bossa Avenue’ featuring brazilian guitarist Ronaldo Lobo and with ‘Linus Clarifies!’, a new project which puts the clarinet in a more modern light. His skilled group blends elements of jazz, fusion, R&B, Brazilian and Latin American music in order to create a unique and contemporary playground for the rarely heard clarinet. Since 2009, Linus is also successfully producing and hosting his own Jazz Radio-Show for breakthruradio.com....
