Born in Greenwood, South Carolina and having grown-up 15 miles from Augusta, Georgia in Trenton SC., Joe is a Graduate of the “James Brown University of Funk”.

Attended South Carolina State College where he recieved many awards for his musicianship, from Marching Band, Symphonic Band. and Jazz Ensemble.

Joe as performed with many Artist over the years, including Stevie Wonder, Paul Bollenback, and of corse The Godfather of Soul Mr. James Brown.
