Tyler Blanton

28 year old Jazz Vibraphonist and composer Tyler Blanton is gaining recognition as a major new voice on the New York Jazz scene. Since arriving in New York City in 2007, his band have consistently featured some of the most important performers of his generation; Saxophonists Joel Frahm, Seamus Blake, Noah Preminger, Ben Wendell and John Ellis. Bassists Massimo Biolcati, Marco Panascia, and Matt Clohesy, and drummers Richie Barshay, Anthony Pinciotti, Mark Ferber, and Tommy Crane, among numerous others. His Debut album “Botanic” was released in October of 2010 and has already garnered considerable attention from fans and critics. .
